Charming Jazz is the newest in-demand jazz ensemble that hit the New York City live music scene. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, singer Charmae's voice is often described as a mix of Billy Holiday and Etta James, with a little hint of Ella. She met veteran jazz pianist Floris Boere in early 2018, who had just released his own full-length album "Going". They bonded over their shared love for vocal jazz music of the early 20th century and decided to form a duo. That Summer, they started performing at private gatherings and restaurant venues such as Jules Bistro and Le P'tit. Charming Jazz can be booked for up to 4 hours and has their own sound equipment and instrument if there is no piano on site.
